Nissan Deliver First LEAF to Customer in San Fransisco

A Black Nissan Leaf, the first affordable, mass-produced, 100% electric vehicle in the world, was delivered to proud new owner Olivier Chalouhi (pictured sporting the obligatory EV grin) today by Nissan Chairman Carlos Tavares in a ceremony in San Fransisco.

Nissan had planned to stream the event live via their Facebook page but they experienced technical difficulties so a recorded press conference will up on the Facebook page as soon as possible.

The second family, from San Diego, can expect delivery Monday.
