Frankfurt Show Bits & Pieces: Toyota Auris Swinging Doors

Now here’s a significant detail that would really set the Auris apart from the previous Corolla hatch once and for all: opposite opening, electric powered doors combined with the absence of a B-pillar. The front doors slide out and aside while the rear doors perform a 90+ degree flip. Simple yet effective in the sense that Toyota would never again have to convince us that the Auris has nothing in common with the Corolla. Yeah right... -One more image after the jump
