Lotus Esprit with Audi V8 Engine Transplant!

Now if this isn’t a project straight from hell we don’t what is; this guy took a 1981 Lotus Esprit S3 and decided to replace its 2.2-liter 4-cylinder engine with a 4.2-liter V8 unit from an Audi A8! Understandably, that’s easier said than done as you can imagine what sort of problems can pop-up with an engine-transplant like this. Still, he managed to do it and for this, he deserves our utter respect! –Video after the jump
