CHRYSLER TOWN & COUNTRY AND DODGE GRAND CARAVAN RECALLED FOR ELECTRICAL ISSUES

13,350 Chrysler Town & Countrys and Dodge Grand Caravans from model year 2009 will be recalled, NHTSA says because of unused electrical connectors. "The Blind Spot Detection System may become corroded and could short circuit." Apparently, "if the fuse for this circuit does not blow, the connectors could overheat and potentially catch fire." 

Not understanding electrical engineering, The Good Car Guy doesn't really understand the problem or the solution, which involves sealing "the power circuit at the subject connector" and replacing "the fuse for the circuit if necessary" Confused as to whether your T&C or Grand Caravan is involved in this NHTSA Recall?
