The Caproni Ca.90 of 1929 was a follow-up to the unsuccessful nine winged Caproni 60 flying boat. It was designed as a bomber with possible commercial use with an eye to transcontinental flights. Powered by six 1000 hp engines, it flew at 126 mph and set records carrying more than 20,000 lbs to 10,000 feet altitude. This was Caproni's last attempt at a large airplane and only one was built.
