Spied: Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Goes to the Dark Side with Black Series Edition

If these scoop pictures remind you of something, it is because the white-bodied prototype SLS AMG model you see here is almost identical to the black-colored tester we showed you last month and which we then wrongly believed to be a mule for the upcoming SLC AMG.

As it turns out, both the white and black testers are prototypes for the SLS AMG 'Gullwing' Black Series Edition that builds upon the regular model adding a whole lot of performance upgrades.
