The GMC Syclone is an unusual product, being a kind-of American interpretation of a Subaru Impreza WRX – that’s why it’s a pickup truck with twice the displacement but the same power.

With its 4.3-liter turbocharged and intercooled V6 that was capable of 280 hp, it was quoted as completing the benchmark sprint in under five seconds – as low as 4.3 seconds according to tests run back in the day or on par with the Corvette at the time.
