Scoop: New BMW 3-Series Comes Out of the Plug-in Hybrid Closet

If BMW is serious about electrification (and all indications are that it is), then the Bavarian brand will eventually have to expand its range from pure hybrids to plug-in hybrids (PHEV) on a larger scale involving core models like the 3-Series instead of only having the i8.
