First Honqi L5 Sedan Sells for $803,000 Becoming the Most Expensive Chinese Car Ever

China’s very own uber-luxurious Rolls-Royce- or Bentley-like sedan, the Honqi L5 (formerly the L7 and meaning “red flag,” in Chinese) has just found its first buyer. The customer is Wang Zhonghua, the owner of a chain of furniture stores, originally from Nanjing. He paid around $803,000 or about €580,000 and is set to take delivery in three months’ time.
