It's safe to say that, when Toyota introduces any kind of revisions to its 86 / GT 86 / Scion FR-S trio of coupes, Subaru will follow suit and vice-versa. So we're not one bit surprised to learn that, less than a week after Toyota announced a handful of updates to the GT 86, Subaru came out with a similar release for the BRZ, initially for Japan.
