Bluetooth VAS 5054A OKI chip VAS-PC V19 device not found

Here is the Bluetooth VAS 5054a VAS-PC V19 with OKI chip for VAG VW, AUDI, SKODA, SEAT, Bentley and Lamborghini “device not found” solution provided.

Problem:
One of the Volkswagen vehicle mechanic has got a series of VAS 5054A interface with different item no: SP33-B (ODIS V2.0), SP33-C (ODIS V2.02) and 10 pieces of SP33-D (VAS-PC V19).

Vas 5054 cable with ODIS V2.0/V2.02 software loaded and worked OK on Win XP laptop, but the SP33-D VAS-PC 19 USB 5054A software in the CD was missing, and the software cannot be detected by the computer. The system display “Device not found” error.

Possible reason:
Vas 5054a vas-pc driver has not been installed first.

Solution:
Open the CD software, find out the “VAS-UDS-Redist” driver of SP33-D Vas 5054 VAS-PC and install it

Or go into C:\PDU-API\Softing\1.XX.XXX\DRIVER\EDIC this driver for 5054a

Windows XP O/S automatically recognizes drivers for VAS-PC after installation.
