Commercial Van Sales In America - September 2015 YTD

U.S. sales of Ford's commercial van trio jumped 65% to 17,994 units in September 2015, equal to 52% of the overall commercial van category's volume. 

The Ford Transit, America's best-selling full-size commercial van and best-selling commercial van overall, earned 37% of all full-size van sales in September 2015. Another 14% of full-size commercial van buyers opted for the Transit's predecessor, the E-Series.

Among small commercial vans, Ford's Transit Connect tumbled 7%, year-over-year, but the smaller Ford still managed to grab 54% of its sub-segment in the U.S. last month.

Ford vans weren't the only commercial products selling more often in September 2015 than during the same month last year. Nissan's NV and NV200 combined for a 35% increase. Ram ProMaster sales jumped 76%.
