Large Luxury SUV Sales In America - September 2015 YTD
Unable to match the pace from last year, when Cadillac was launching the fourth-gen Escalade, sales of GM's most costly SUV tumbled 20% in September 2015 in the United States.
Aside from two rivals from Toyota Motor Corp. which are entering a replacement phase, the Escalade's rivals all posted meaningful year-over-year U.S. sales increases in September 2015.

U.S. SUV/Crossover Sales Rankings By Model - September 2015 YTD
Infiniti QX80 volume shot beyond 1000 units for an 11th time in the last 12 months. Range Rover volume climbed past 1000 units for the 12th time in the last 12 months. Lincoln Navigator volume has increased on a year-over-year basis in 13 consecutive months.
Mercedes-Benz, which averaged fewer than 90 G-Class sales per month between 2004 and 2012 averaged 275 G-Class sales per month since March of last year.
Meanwhile, the GL, Mercedes-Benz's more conventional big SUV, posted a 14% increase equal to 294 extra sales in September 2015.
