Large SUV Sales In Canada - February 2016 YTD

Canadian sales of full-size, truck-based, body-on-frame SUVs jumped 38% to 880 units in February 2016.

Sure, that's a drop in the bucket compared to the industry's 119,000 total sales, but it's a much larger drop than it was at this stage one year ago.

General Motors' four volume brand nameplates owned 70% of the segment. (GM Canada also sold 171 Escalades and Escalade ESVs in February.) The Chevrolet Tahoe and its GMC Yukon twin ranked first and second in total February volume.
