Large Luxury SUV Sales In America - September 2016 YTD

Total sales of the Cadillac Escalade jumped by one-third to nearly 4000 units in September 2016, a month in which GM's six full-size SUVs earned 11% of the company's total U.S. volume.

The Escalade was by no means the only flagship luxury SUV to benefit from increased attention in September. The Infiniti QX80 reported its fifth consecutive month above 1200 units. Lexus more than doubled its LX570 sales. The Mercedes-Benz GLS reported its sixth consecutive year-over-year increase. Toyota reported 171% more Land Cruiser sales in September 2016 than September 2015.

Bentley also sold another 140 Bentaygas in the second month of availability for the company's first SUV, which produced half of the brand's sales. Mercedes-Benz's G-Class has now increased its sales in 15 consecutive months, year-over-year.
